Libraries in Alachua and Bradford Counties

Andrews Center (Starke, Florida) Library Services

Santa Fe College maintains a reading room at the Andrews Center in Bradford County. All local library services are provided by the Bradford County Public Library through an agreement with Santa Fe College. The public library is located one block north of the Andrews Center at 456 Pratt Street, Starke. You may contact the Bradford County Public Library at (904) 368-3911. The Research & Homework Help Line is (904) 368-3913. Santa Fe College students attending classes at the Andrews Center are encouraged to use the library services provided at the Bradford County Public Library. Librarians from the Northwest Campus travel to teach Information Literacy classes at the Andrews Center and are available to provide in-depth research assistance to students via email, phone or chat.

Blount Downtown Center and the Alachua County Library District

Library services to the Blount Downtown Center of SF are provided by the Northwest Campus library. The Center is in close proximity to the Northwest branch (Headquarters) of the Alachua County Library District and students are encouraged to use this library system. The Lawrence W. Tyree Library and the Alachua County Library District cooperate closely. You may contact the Alachua County Library District Headquarters at (352) 334-3900. Librarians from the Northwest Campus travel to teach Information Literacy classes at the Blount Center and are available to provide in-depth research assistance to students via email, phone or chat.

Davis Center (Archer, FL) and Perry Center (Alachua, FL)

Library services to the Davis and Perry Centers of SF are provided by the Northwest Campus library. Both Center are in close proximity to the branches of the Alachua County Library District and students are encouraged to use this library system. The Lawrence W. Tyree Library and the Alachua County Library District cooperate closely. You may contact the Alachua County Library District Alachua Branch at (386) 462-2592 and the Archer Branch at (352) 495-3367. Librarians from the Northwest Campus travel to teach Information Literacy classes at the Davis and Perry Centers and are available to provide in-depth research assistance to students via email, phone or chat.

University of Florida Libraries

The resources of the UF Libraries are available to SF students for research use.

Santa Fe College borrowers may check out materials from any of the University of Florida Libraries except the Health Science Center Library. Santa Fe College borrowers should complete the Request for Reciprocal Borrowing Privileges form set up an account.

SF students and faculty in the SF Health Related Programs may apply for a courtesy card for checkout privileges from the UF Health Science Center Library. No more than 5 books may be borrowed at one time from the University of Florida Libraries.
