What can I do with the BookScan Station?
Scan Reference books, journal articles, textbooks, photos, notes and other documents through an easy-to-use, touch-screen station.
How much does it cost?
It’s FREE!! Since there is no paper or toner, as with traditional printing systems, there are no costs to operate the BookScan Station…it's free, yes…FREE!
How do I save the information I scan?
Information can be saved to a USB drive, sent to an email address, saved to Google Docs or saved to your smartphone (requires QR code reader). Images can also be converted to PDF, searchable PDF, Word, TIFF or JPEG formats.
Can I scan in color?
Yes! The BookScan Station allows you to select black/white or color settings for your scanned image.
Where is the BookScan Station?
The library has two BookScan Stations located near the Reference Collection on the 2nd floor.
