Bill has independent management consulting experience as well as experience serving in the strategic planning division of FMI Corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina. At Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg, Florida, Bill served as Vice President of Office Services and managed the firm′s national portfolio of real estate. He also served in the Corporate Marketing Department for Raymond James Financial to help develop the firm′s corporate marketing plan.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management, both from the University of Florida.
Program Coordinator, Bradford County Incubator
Laurence has over 12 years of experience analyzing problems and providing strategic solutions for clients and co-workers in the public and private sectors. He spent 10 years working as a pension analyst for the New York City Employees' Retirement System. As an independent management consultant, Laurence has advised entrepreneurs and small business owners in the US and the Caribbean.
Laurence has an MBA with a focus on Strategy Development and Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Music from Nyack College. He also holds a Certificate of Completion from the University of St. Gallen Switzerland's International Study Program - a 10 week intensive study exchange program focusing on doing business in continental Europe.
Laurence is currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the Bradford County Incubator - a collaborative training program between Santa Fe College's Center for Innovation and Economic Development and CareerSource North Central Florida. The goal of this program is to help local entrepreneurs turn their ideas into income.
Eva Del Rio
After a 20 year career as a Human Resources professional, Eva Del Rio founded HR Pro on Demand, a consulting practice that focuses on the human resources needs of small businesses. She is a firm believer that every business will benefit from learning how to use good HR practices to reduce liability and increase employee productivity and morale.
Eva graduated with a Masters degree in Education from the University of Florida. She went on to a successful 20 year career as a Human Resources professional serving in senior management positions for local employers such as Golder Associates, Meridian Behavioral Healthcare and The Gainesville Sun.
Eva is active in community and professional organizations; she is a board member of the Gainesville Area Innovation Network as well as a board member and past president of the North Central Florida Society for Human Resources Management. Eva also writes a weekly newspaper column about the workplace, published in The Gainesville Sun and the Star Banner in Ocala.

Dwight L. Hulse, CPA.CITP, CGMA is the Founder and Principal Business Advisor of D.L. Grant Writing & Market Assessment
Cris Johnsrud is the principle of Pathfinder Research, Inc., which provides research, consulting and management services to accelerate technology commercialization and build the innovation economy. She is also a founding partner of Research2Revenue, LLC, a company devoted to helping entrepreneurs win and manage grants and contracts, including SBIR grants. Prior to forming these two ventures, Cris was director of Research And Strategic Planning at the Southern Technology Applications Center at the University of Florida where she led local and national proposal teams to win more than $100 million in federal and state funding.
Cris holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Florida where her research focused on the affects of corporate culture on organizational partnerships, including NASA's early program involving small businesses in space-based R&D on the shuttle. She has been president of the Gainesville Area Innovation Network, is a certified facilitator of commercialization methodology, and has served as a judge for the Cade Prize for Innovation.

Ann Fiorelli helps small and mid-size businesses create long-term revenue streams by aligning their offerings and sales strategies with marketplace dynamics and buyer needs. Ann provides practical and actionable solutions for companies to capture and expand share in existing markets and to develop solutions for emerging markets ahead of competitors.
As an independent consultant, Ann has helped organizations develop new competitive intelligence capabilities, move past beta to reach new markets, measure return on investments, strengthen customer relationships, gain traction with new sales messages and make informed decisions about if and how to enter new markets. Ann has also held leadership positions in companies including Jacobs Engineering and Accenture where she provided executives with insights that resulted in multi-billion dollar revenue streams.

Felicia Lee is a professional writer and editor with 20 years of experience. She specializes in helping commercial clients develop and polish crucial documents such as new-business proposals and technical reports, and also provides writing services for print and online promotional materials such as brochures, web copy, video scripts, and newsletters.
Felicia has worked as an in-house editor and writer for three Fortune 500 companies (Rockwell International, Xerox, and Philips). Her past technical and promotional writing has included work for the Space Shuttle program, product test documentation for video games, and projects in the biotechnology, architectural, and hospitality industries. She has taught at major universities including UCLA, USC, and the University of Florida, and is skilled in designing instructional and informational materials accessible to a wide range of audiences.
Felicia holds a B.A. (with honors) and M.A. in English from Stanford, and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from UCLA. She served for three years on the board of directors of the Writers Alliance of Gainesville.
David Whitney is Managing Director of Energent Ventures (EV). EV is a private equity firm headquartered in Gainesville, FL that invests in early-stage technology companies. EV also invests in commercial and residential real estate projects featuring sustainable design and green construction techniques. EV is also developer, builder and property manager in these real estate projects.
Prior to forming Energent Ventures in 2006, David was a Senior Manager in Deloitte's Venture Capital practice. He worked with early-stage, venture backed companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, health care, life sciences, consumer business, and financial services industries. His specialty was identifying, developing, evaluating, and delivering value-added solutions that enhanced a company′s operating profitability, increased its sales, and expanded the company′s market presence. Karl R. Zawoy
Early Stage Business Development and Product Launch
Karl R. Zawoy, the Managing Partner for ScriptShot, LLC, has the unique ability to identify whether an early stage technology has commercial and market potential. Further, he is able to recognize the potential use of a new technology and its application in emerging markets. He helps entrepreneurs and executives find their niche, crystalize opportunities, create a vision, build trust, and develop plans to deliver on schedule.
Karl served as a CTO for TruVitals, an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research, and a Licensing Officer for the University of Florida Office of Technology Licensing where he closed over 150 technology-based licensing deals. He also led new product development teams for two Johnson & Johnson companies and other medical device startup companies and directed product development teams to launch products to diagnose breast cancer, treat coronary artery disease, heal wounds, and improve human vision.
Karl recently mentored the winning team out of 14 competing business teams at the 2nd Annual Startup Quest Competition in Gainesville, Florida. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University. He is an inventor on twelve patents and a Registered Technology Transfer Professional.

Kristen founded and grew Student Maid from a one person operation in 2009 to one that employs over 400 students during peak seasons and is currently in two locations. Recognized as the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce's "Leading Women's Enterprise," in both 2010 & 2011 Student Maid graduated from the CIED's Entrepreneur Incubator to their own space in August 2011. Kristen lends her experience and expertise now to help other local startups succeed. In her role at the CIED as Transition/Progression Planning for the incubating companies, she helps them plan for growth and expansion that will provide a sustainable base for their business beyond their incubation at CIED.
Kristen is a 2010 UF graduate, where she studied finance and mass communications. She is very committed to the Gainesville community, serving on boards and committees for several local organizations. Intellectual Properties Attorney
Maxwell Minch, a registered patent attorney, focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology law dealing with patent drafting and prosecution, licensing and technology transfer as well as corporate formation and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and federal contract and grant compliance. Prior to joining GrayRobinson he opened his own law firm and served as a General Legal Consultant for Banyan Biomarkers Inc. and formerly as the in-house General Counsel for Banyan Biomarkers Inc.
During his time there, Mr. Minch established the company's legal and intellectual property department, prepared US and foreign patent applications in the biomedical field, managed the company's patent portfolio, oversaw the company's scientific publications, in addition to negotiating the company's contracts and licenses. Additionally, he helped navigate Department of Defense and National Institute of Health grant compliance and assisted with interpretation of FDA regulations for negotiating clinical trial agreements for the approval of a medical diagnostic.

Philip N. Kabler, Esq. is a Senior Counsel at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. Mr. Kabler holds law licenses in Florida, Connecticut, and Virginia (Associate Status), as well as admissions to various Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court. He graduated from Brandeis University (Waltham, MA) in 1982, Magna Laude with High Honors in Philosophy, and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (Philadelphia, PA) in 1985.
Mr. Kabler has practiced since 1985 in both law firm and in-house settings in Norfolk, VA, Hartford, CT, Miami, FL, and Gainesville, FL. He has taught at the University of Florida - Levin College of Law from 2011-2015, at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business Administration from 2007-2013 and 2016 (teaching graduate-level Business Law for Entrepreneurs during the Spring 2016 semester), and at Santa Fe College (Gainesville, FL) from 1998-1999 and 2004-2010. Mr. Kabler was an administrator with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice - District III for five years.
Mr. Kabler was appointed in 2014 to the Eighth Judicial Circuit Local Professionalism Panel. In 2015 he was appointed to a second three-year term on the Florida Bar's Professional Ethics Committee (the first being from 2010-2013).
Mr. Kabler is the President of the North Florida Association of Real Estate Attorneys. He was the 2015 Chair of the Gainesville - Alachua County Association of Realtors Commercial Council. Katharine believes that everyone deserves a career that is meaningful and fulfilling and that enables them to live into their greatest potential. As a Professional Career Coach, she helps people clarify their interests, values, strengths, and skills in order to support them in discovering work that maximizes these and brings out the best in them.
After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, receiving a master's degree in accounting, getting her CPA license, and having a successful 7-year career in public accounting as an audit manager, she found herself unfulfilled and unhappy in her career. After a lot of self-examination and soul searching, she realized that the parts of her job she loved, and really excelled in, were coaching and mentoring people. It was from this place that she transitioned her career to coaching. This transition was born out of a desire to better utilize her unique strengths, life experiences, and skill set in order to help people create more meaning and fulfillment in their careers.
She’s currently being trained and certified on the Co-Active model of coaching through CTI. Along with the Co-Active coaching tools, she brings over twenty years of combined professional and personal life experiences with her when working with clients.

Wendy Zimbone, founding partner of Talem IP Law, specializes in IP licensing, IP strategy, and contract negotiations. She joined Talem from the University of Florida where she was the Assistant Director of Engineering and Software Licensing, managing approximately 400 intellectual property cases, an extensive patent budget and negotiated dozens of license agreements each year. Wendy has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, and began her career working as a software engineer in the military defense industry. Sohail has a bachelors in Electrical Engineering followed by executive business education from INSEAD France and Harvard Business School (HBS), Boston, USA focusing on strategy, macroeconomics and corporate finance.
Don Davis has 31 years in banking administration including 11 years as local bank president for Capital City Bank, a regional bank, with prior stops at a local community bank, First National Bank of Alachua and 14 years with Bank of America/Barnett Bank. All stops were focused on commercial lending and all experience is in Alachua County. Don holds a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from UF.
After retiring from Capital City Bank, Don wants to continue to assist small businesses and start up entities assess their ability to borrow. In addition he can offer guidance on how each of the local bank’s business model aligns with your company’s borrowing needs. Jose Del Cueto

Jose Del Cueto has over 30 years of experience in National and International marketing. He is considered one of the pioneers in Spanish language/ Latin American Pan-Regional Television, having worked with both Univision and Telemundo Networks in various senior management positions overseeing their National and International footprints.
Jose is also a proven self-described “serial entrepreneur” having launched and managed from inception to finality, more than 50 start-ups in multiple industries, many of which expanded into the Americas. Jose’s business, DMG Solutions has worked with some of the leading companies in the world such as; DirecTV, Honda, Burger King, Wyeth, HSBC, and Columbia House, amongst others, helping them develop and execute go-to-market and growth strategies to accelerate sales through Data Driven Marketing solutions. DMG’s most recent focus is to help start-ups and early stage companies amplify their sales and market share and offers advisory and hands-on business development services.
Jose recently relocated to Gainesville, Florida and is teaching Big Data Digital strategy labs to students at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College. Jose is a graduate of Santa Fe College and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Alachua County Habitat for Humanity as well as Partnership for Strong families. Jose has an on-going mentoring internship program for Communication students from UF and Santa Fe College dedicated to develop marketing materials for local non-profits.
