2015 Counselor In Training (CIT) Program
Counselor In Training (CIT) Leadership Progam at Santa Fe College is in its fifth year of providing exciting volunteer opportunities to teens 15-18 years of age and rising 10th-12th grade students. Come and have a wonderful summer as a College For Kids CIT volunteer and learn to be a leader in our community.
The CIT Leadership Program is a work-oriented volunteer program which gives teens the opportunity to assist our College For Kids instructors and staff. Teens are assigned to specific instructors to assist with classroom activities, class change procedures and to ensure the smooth running of the program. CIT volunteers may sign up for one or both College For Kids sessions.

Session I: July 6th - 16th
Session II: July 20th - 30th
Time: 8am - 5:30pm, both sessions
Submit a completed application packet and two personal recommendations by May 8th
Attend an office interview
Selected CITs must attend mandatory orientation and leadership training on June 10th from 10am - 4pm
A maximum of 10 CITs are selected for each 2-week session. Fee is $80 per session and will include a program t-shirt. Optional lunch program is available for $50 per session. Verification of volunteer hours is provided after successful completion of the program.
