2017 College for Kids Program - (352) 395-5398

The College For Kids (CFK) program is organized by Community Education and is designed as an academic program, offering students challenging, fun, hands-on learning experiences beyond the ordinary school environment. A wide range of classes in topics ranging from art to math to science to computer skills is available to choose from in block sessions.

College for Kids — NW Campus, Gainesville

A fun-filled summer experience for children who are 10-14 years of age and rising 5th-9th grade students. Two 2-week sessions are available, full or half days.

Session I: 7/10 - 7/20
Session II: 7/24 - 8/3
Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5:15pm
Full day - $348 per session
Half day - $174 per session

Counselor in Training Leadership Program — NW Campus, Gainesville

Counselor In Training (CIT) is for teens 15-18 years of age and rising 10th-12th grade students, and is a work-oriented volunteer experience, which gives teens an opportunity to assist College For Kids instructors during the two-week CFK summer camps.

Engineering Workshop — Watson Center, Keystone Heights

Explore computer, electrical, civil, mechanical, and aerospace engineering during this make it and take it, hands on camp for kids that emphasizes active learning of different engineering and science concepts.
