Altavian Featured on NSPS Radio Hour —
Altavian, an unmanned aircraft solutions provider that integrates engineering and manufacturing with services for federal, state, local, and commercial clients was featured on the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) Radio Hour. Curt Summer, NSPS Host and John Perry, Altavian founder and CEO, discussed drone surveying, engineering and the rising costs. Altavian is commercializing technology developed at the University of Florida and was funded by the Institute in May of 2014.

How One Couple Turned A Passion For Food Into A Profitable Side Business —
After taking several food tours during their travels, Caroline Chance Earls and her husband, Ryan, began to recognize that there was untapped culinary potential in their own backyard of Gainesville, Florida.

One Million Cups —
Now you can sip coffee and engage with local entrepreneurs. "One Million Cups" is a program is designed to educate, engage and connect entrepreneurs with the community. The Santa Fe College Center for Innovation and Economic Development hosted a presentation for start-up companies on Wednesday. The "one million cups" program is in over 75 cities around the country. The program will happen every Wednesday here in gainesville.
