Widgets are applications that are added to a site so you, the user, can add information in specific ways. There are two types of widgets: Percussion Widgets and Custom Widgets. Percussion Widgets are the standard "templates" while the Custom Widgets are ones that we created for you. Please visit our Custom Widgets page for more detail info.
Contributors create new items and do most of the initial work on them, adding content and modifying the layout of pages. Editors review items and approve them to be published. Editors can by default, edit, reject, submit or approve content in all states.
Make sure you use Bulk Upload gadget in Dashboard.
If it's in the "Finder" view, you won't be able to. Instead, select "Dashboard" dropdown on top left corner and use Bulk Upload gadget and upload it to your department folder.
Don't forget to click 'Approve Assets' before uploading. This is very important when it comes uploading more than one file.
When using Bulk Uploading, make sure you select "Image" in dropdown, not "File" or such. Files such as doc, pdf, etc. set as "File".
Make sure you disable popup block. Go to Safari > Preferences > Security and untick "Block pop-up windows"
Change from 'true' to 'false' on browser URL. This will also hide devices option.
Please contact us email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for password reset. At this time of writing (v4.1), there was no way for users to reset the password or create their own password. We are working on that.
Please contact the person and have them to close the file. If you are not able to identity the person or the file is still ongoing for a while, please contact us.
Open up the file and make sure you click "Edit" button on far right to begin editing the content. If you are not able to edit, it is probably due to wrong department / permission setting folder.
Chrome, Safari, Firefox are highly recommended. Internet Explorer 11+ is OK.
Could be "pending" as part of Incremental Publishing or someone has yet reviewed your pages.
Copy the URL from Finder URL then add http://sfcollege.edu/, otherwise won't work. Do keep in mind whenever the files are removed or moved elsewhere, you'll need to update it, otherwise it will render as "broken".
At this time of writing, open up text editor and go to Tools > Source Code and paste the embed code. Do not set width or height of the video. It is formatted to fit in the content area.
Go back to edit your post, to place “read more” link, add a space between two paragraphs and go to Insert > More Link.
