PERT, Kaplan, and Critical Thinking testing are offered on a walk-in basis. A government issued picture ID is required (Driver's License, Florida ID, Military ID or Passport).

If you have a disability and need specialized proctoring services for the Accuplacer CPT/PERT, Critical Thinking or Kaplan nursing test, please contact the Disabilities Resource Center (DRC), 352-395-4400, to make arrangements for accommodations. Please note: To receive accommodations, you must provide DRC with appropriate documentation of your disability.
May I retake the Placement Test?
Individuals may sit for the PERT or Accuplacer (CPT) once without charge. After the first sitting, students may elect to retake the PERT or Accuplacer (CPT). Students must wait 10 business days to retest. Retakes must be done prior to the first term of registration; student cannot be currently registered or enrolled for any courses upon retesting. Any attempt after the first sitting will cost $30 regardless of the number of subtests.
